As the 2023 Indian Premier League draws closer, fans are eagerly anticipating the biggest T20 league in action once again. Last year’s runners-up, the Rajasthan Royals, are looking to make amends for their defeat to the Gujarat Titans. The franchise has now unveiled their official song for the upcoming IPL season.
The song, written by lyricist Sholke Lal and composed and sung by Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi, stays true to the franchise’s motto of ‘Halla Bol.’ The song captures the essence of being a Rajasthan Royals fan through a fusion of modern and folk music.
The song was first introduced at a concert where Amit Trivedi performed it in front of a live audience in Jaipur, the home of the Rajasthan Royals.
Jake Lush McCrum, CEO of Rajasthan Royals, expressed his thoughts on the importance of music for the franchise and what it symbolizes for the team.
“Music is an important and vibrant way for the Royals, both players and fans, to connect emotionally. It’s been fantastic to see the love from our fans in the creation of this song. I can’t wait to hear them chanting it in the stadium, helping drive us to victory,” said McCrum.
The launch of the official song is sure to add to the excitement and enthusiasm of Rajasthan Royals fans, who are eagerly waiting for the IPL to start. The Rajasthan Royals will begin their IPL 2023 campaign against the Punjab Kings in Mumbai on April 2.
