The design of the jersey is inspired by the city of Mumbai, its culture, struggle, and the dream beyond effort and excellence. The new jersey may not feature any significant changes from the previous season, as the team’s traditional blue and gold colors remain the primary focus.
Mumbai Indians had a forgettable outing in the last IPL, managing to win only four out of their 14 games. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the team will be eager to turn things around and reclaim their title in the upcoming edition.
The franchise faces a significant setback as their ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury. However, MI’s bowling lineup still looks formidable, with the likes of Jofra Archer, Jhye Richardson, and Jason Behrendorff in their arsenal. The experienced Piyush Chawla, along with youngsters Kumar Karthikeya and Hrithik Shokeen, can provide a variety of options to the team’s bowling attack.
