MS Dhoni Unleashes Power with Monstrous Six in IPL 2023 Preparations

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who will captain Chennai Super Kings in the 2019 Indian Premier League season, has already began his preparations. Fans can watch ‘Thala’ smashing a stunning six during net practise ahead of IPL 2023 in a video uploaded by a fan on social media.

The 2023 IPL season is projected to be the former Indian captain’s last appearance in the competition, and CSK will be seeking to deliver him his fifth championship triumph. Dhoni has scored 4978 runs at an average of 39.2 in 234 IPL outings, helping Chennai to four titles in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.

CSK has also been in the most IPL finals, finishing second in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2019. The tournament’s heavyweights, on the other hand, didn’t have a fantastic year last year, finishing in ninth place with just four victories.

Dhoni resigned as captain and handed over the baton to Ravindra Jadeja for 2022. However, following a string of defeats for Chennai in the early part of the season, MSD was forced to take control again. Meanwhile, Jadeja was forced to withdraw from the competition owing to a rib cage injury.

Because CSK paid a high price for Ben Stokes in the 2023 auction, it is speculated that the English all-rounder may take over as captain after Dhoni retires. Aside from Stokes, the franchise has recruited Ajinkya Rahane and Kyle Jamieson to its 2023 lineup.

Rahane was signed for Rs.50 lakhs, while the Kiwi all-rounder was signed for Rs.1 crore. It should be noted that Rahane has previously led IPL teams and might be selected for leadership roles.
