The dangerous New Zealand hitter, though, had no answers for Kuldeep Yadav’s command of the ball. On the penultimate delivery of the tenth over, he was beaten all ends up by the Indian spinner, as the ball spun swiftly and rattled his off stump. The Indian bowlers never gave the Blackcaps a break, with captain Hardik Pandya holding back his new ball bowlers till the last over of the first innings. The Indian spinners bowled 13 overs in total, allowing just 55 runs and sharing four wickets. Because of their bowling efforts, the visitors were only able to score 99 runs in their 20 overs.
