According to Pragyan Ojha, Royal Challengers Bangalore are merely waiting to find a spot for Will Jacks.
Pretoria Capitals maintained their lead in the current SA20 2023 competition by beating MI Cape Town by 52 runs. Will Jacks (62 off 27 balls) and Kusal Mendis (29 off 19 balls) batted first, giving the Capitals an explosive start (88-run partnership) that concluded their innings at 182.
In defence, Capitals skipper Wayne Parnell took three wickets while allowing just 14 runs, assisting in the Capitals’ 130-run victory against MI Cape Town. Will Jacks also helped with the ball, taking George Linde out.
Pragyan Ojha, a Viacom18 Sports specialist, praised Jacks’ performance and predicted that Royal Challengers Bangalore would be ready to sign him. Ojha also believes that Jacks’ aggressive batting at the time is due to his self-belief.
“I believe it was his day. There was one dropped catch, but the way he was batting, he had that clarity. If you see these kinds of strokes, it shows you that he has a very strong self-belief, he knows where he’s going to go and what shots he needs to play.”
“After that when you watch him bowl, particularly that wicket, he was tormenting the batter and that is why he was handed the ball and took one vital wicket. “I believe Bangalore (Royal Challengers Bangalore) will be looking for a spot for him in India,” Ojha continued.
The Sunrisers Eastern Cape will meet the Paarl Royals at 5:00 p.m., while the Joburg Super Kings will face the Durban Super Giants at 9:00 p.m., both live on Jio Cinema, Sports18 – 1, Sports18 Khel, and Colors Tamil. The Pretoria Capitals will next play at Cape Town on February 4 before taking a week off in the competition. The Capitals are in fantastic form and will be eager to continue their winning streak after the break.
