Rishabh Pant, India’s wicketkeeper-batter, has praised the two teenagers who rescued him following a tragic automobile accident on his way to New Delhi from Roorkee on December 30, 2022.
Pant, who referred to them as “heroes,” added that he would be eternally grateful to them for saving his life and that he was now on his path to recovery following many operations.
Taking to Twitter, Pant uploaded a picture of the two young men, Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar, praising them and adding that he will be eternally thankful to them.

The left-handed star batter also provided a health update, indicating that his road to recovery has started and thanking all of his supporters, well-wishers, the BCCI and its secretary, Jay Shah, for their support.

Notably, Pant is set to be out of action for the most of 2023, missing a number of key events, including the IPL. Pant, who heads the Delhi Capitals, will be unavailable for the major carnival, which begins in April.
