Through a tender procedure, the IPL Governing Council has requested proposals from reputable businesses to obtain the right to own and run a team in the Women’s Indian Premier League.
The ‘Invitation to Tender’ (“ITT”), which will be made available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee of INR 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax, contains the detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process, including eligibility requirements, bid submission process, proposed team’s rights and obligations, and so on. The ITT will remain on the market until January 21, 2023.
Interested parties are asked to send [email protected] the details of their payment for the ITT purchase. It is noted that the ITT papers will only be supplied following receipt of the above-mentioned non-refundable cost.
Any interested party that wishes to make a bid must first acquire the ITT. However, only those who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the ITT and agree to the additional terms and conditions outlined in the ITT will be able to bid. It has been made clear that just acquiring this ITT does not enable anybody to bid. Furthermore, the BCCI maintains the right to terminate or modify the bidding procedure at any time and in any way.
