Jofra Archer’s contract with Sussex has been extended till the end of 2023
Jofra Archer, England’s speed wonder, has signed a new one-year contract extension with Sussex and will continue with the club until the conclusion of the 2023 season. Archer made his county debut in 2016, and he has a good record in 43 first-class games, with 181 wickets at an average of 24.9. In fact, his statistics piqued the interest of many experts, and he quickly earned a spot in England’s Test squad for 2019.
Archer has played 13 Tests, taking 42 wickets with three five-wicket hauls, although he has been sidelined for a lengthy period due to an elbow injury. He is a match-winner with the ball and a useful batsman further down the order.
