David Miller, a left-handed batsman, was at his best during IPL 2022, scoring crucial match-winning runs for the champions Gujarat Titans. Miller is anticipated to deliver similar results with his national squad.

He can play a few strokes with the bat, especially in the death overs. Pretorius was with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) during the IPL 2022 and would have had an excellent understanding of Indian conditions.
