IPL 2022 – List of Awards and Cash Prizes to be won after the tournament

The final of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played on May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium between the new entrants Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) (Sunday). While Hardik Pandya will captain the GT team, Sanju Samson will captain the Royals, who are playing in their first final since the tournament’s inception.

Following the final on Sunday, many awards will be given out, including the Orange Cap, Purple Cap, Emerging Player, and Fair Play, among many others. Furthermore, the winning and runner-up teams will each receive a large check for INR 20 and 13 crores, respectively.

Let’s take a look at the list of awards and the cash prizes to be won after the tournament.

Runners-up: The runners-up will receive a cash prize of INR 13 crore.

Third place: The team that finished second in Qualifier 2 (Royal Challengers Bangalore) will be awarded a cash prize of INR 7 crore.

Fourth place: The team that lost the Eliminator (Lucknow Super Giants) will receive INR 6.5 crore in cash.

Orange Cap: The batter who scores the most runs receives an IPL Orange Cap and a cash prize of INR 15 lakh.

Purple Cap: The bowler who takes the most wickets during the tournament will receive INR 15 lakh.

IPL Emerging Player of the Tournament: The young player will receive a cash prize of INR 20 lakh.

Most Valuable Player of the season: The winner will receive INR 12 lakh in cash.

Maximum Sixes Award in IPL: The winner will get a cash reward of INR 12 lakh.

Game-changer of the season: The winner of the game-changer of the season will get a cash reward of INR 12 lakh.

Super Striker of the season: The winner of the Super Striker of the season for the current edition will get a cash reward of INR 15 lakh.

Fair Play Award:The team with the most fair play points throughout the season will also receive a cash prize.
