IPL 2022 Qualifier 2 – Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – Players to avoid in your Dream11 fantasy lineup

On Friday, the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off in IPL 2022 Qualifier 2. This will be the third meeting between the two clubs this season. RCB and RR have each won one game. The victor of this game will face Gujarat Titans in the championship game. RR lost to GT in Qualifier 1 and now has a second chance to reach the final for the first time since 2008.

RCB, on the other side, defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 14 runs in the Eliminator match after scoring 207 runs. After the three of Du Plessis, Kohli, and Maxwell failed to deliver, Rajat Patidar, an uncapped player called in as a replacement, stepped up for RCB. He scored 112 runs off 54 deliveries and was named Player of the Match. Josh Hazlewood took three wickets, but he was a little pricey, giving up 43 runs in four overs. Harshal Patel was in fine form, taking the wicket of Marcus Stoinis while keeping his economy under 7.

While both teams have some superstars, there are some who are not really firing on all cylinders and you should think a bit before picking them for your Dream11 Fantasy Lineups.

Number 1. Riyan Parag

During the mega auction, four of the 10 teams expressed interest in Riyan Parag. RR had to pay INR 3.8 crores for his services. He has been with RR since 2019, and this is the first season in which he has played every match. Riyan has scored 168 runs at an average of 16.80 in 15 games this season and has taken one wicket. He was named Player of the Match after scoring 56 runs off 31 deliveries in the previous game against RCB. Despite getting a chance to bat in each of the last seven games, he has not scored more than 20 runs in an innings since that game.

.

Number 2. Mahipal Lomror

Mahipal Lomror does not bat in a specific position. In only his second game of the season, he scored 42 runs off 27 deliveries against Chennai Super Kings. He batted at the number four position in this match. He may not get to bat in this position in this match. He has failed to bat in two of the last four matches. In addition, he has only gone over 20 runs in an inning once this season.

.

Number 3. Shahbaz Ahmed

Shahbaz Ahmed finds himself in a similar scenario as Lomror. He has not batted in the last two games and has also failed to pick up a wicket. In the previous game against LSG, he bowled four overs and gave up 35 runs. Shahbaz has two wickets in the last five matches for RCB. Only once in the last ten matches has he taken more than two wickets in an innings. He is RCB’s fifth bowler and has not been in great form recently. He is unlikely to be rested for this match, so avoid him in your fantasy lineup.
