Rahul Tewatia believes that the Gujarat Titans have a good chance of winning the title as they don’t rely on a single player
Gujarat Titans (GT) astonished everyone by finishing first in the league stage with 10 wins from 14 games. No one had counted them in following the mammoth auction, but they proved the skeptics entirely wrong by reaching the final of this year’s IPL in their debut.
Rahul Tewatia, GT’s promising all-rounder, commented about Gujarat’s progress in the tournament in the most recent interview. He emphasized the entire teamwork that has contributed to their successful season. He also stated that Hardik Pandya as captain and Ashish Nehra as the coach had been a pleasant surprise for everyone.
“Our team is not dependent on one player but the entire team performs and that’s what sets us apart. The team atmosphere is very relaxed and chilled and that’s what has helped us perform like this.” Tewatia said.
Rahul Tewatia has 217 runs in 12 innings with a strike rate of 147.62 in the present IPL. His cameos have helped GT win some key games in nail-biting situations. When asked about his batting under pressure, he stated, “I love being under pressure — it brings out the best in me.”
Tewatia stated that his ambition of donning the colors of Team India is still alive, as he only wants to keep doing his basics in the hopes of being selected for national selection. Tewatia is seeking to make a few changes ahead of this year’s IPL final, and he praised Gujarat Titans fans for their unwavering support.
