IPL 2022 – The BEST Mumbai Indians Playing XI to face the Sunrisers Hyderabad

The Mumbai Indians will face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022 Match 65 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MI will enter this match fresh off a five-wicket triumph against archrivals Chennai Super Kings at the same stadium. Now that they are officially out of the playoffs race, the five-time champions will seek to sign off by winning both of their remaining matches while playing a bold brand of cricket.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians destroyed CSK’s title reign with a win against them in the last game, and they now want to ruin SRH’s prospects as well, since one more loss will terminate SRH’s IPL 2022 campaign. At the same time, Mumbai will likely use the same starting XI for this match as well.

Let’s take a look at the BEST Mumbai Indians Playing XI to face the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

.

Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan open the innings

In the previous encounter, skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed after a promising start, scoring 18 runs off 14 deliveries while chasing 98 against CSK. With only two more matches remaining, the Hitman would like to finish his campaign on a good note.

On the other side, Ishan Kishan would be eager to end this campaign on a high note, having only managed three half-centuries after being purchased for a phenomenal amount during the two-day mega auction earlier this year. He only made six runs against the Chennai Super Kings.

Tritan Stubbs, Tilak Varma, and Tim David solidify the middle order

Tilak Varma has emerged as Mumbai’s newfound talent and one of the season’s most promising batters. He has helped MI win a few games with his outstanding efforts, most recently against CSK in which he scored an unbeaten 34. Tim David, who had often sat on the bench, has turned out to be an important batting performer for the Mumbai Indians. He contributed an undefeated seven-ball 16 in an easy chase after MI had lost half their side.

Meanwhile, Tristan Stubbs got a silver duck in the previous game and will seek to go crazy against the Hyderabad bowling attack in the forthcoming game.

Ramandeep Singh and Hrithik Shokeen come in as the all-rounders

With the experienced Kieron Pollard rested, Ramandeep Singh and Hrithik Shokeen will be tasked with doing all-round duties. Ramandeep is a relatively inexperienced player who has scored 18 runs and taken one wicket in three matches thus far.

Hrithik Shokeen, on the other hand, has scored 43 runs and taken two wickets in four appearances and will be hoping to add a few more scalps in the remaining games.

Daniel Sams, Kumar Kartikeya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Riley Meredith form the bowling attack

Daniel Sams was named Player of the Match for his match-winning 3/16 against CSK. In Mumbai’s remaining games, he wants the ball to speak for itself in the same way. Kumar Kartikeya’s 2/22 was essential in stifling the Chennai Super Kings in the previous game.

Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who had struggled in the first few games, has made a dramatic increase in his wicket total with a fifer against the Kolkata Knight Riders. He may have only taken one wicket in the previous game, but he will be hungry to add a few more to his tally against the Orange Army.

Riley Meredith, an Australian bowler, took 2/27 as the Chennai Super Kings utterly lost the plot on a tricky Wankhede surface, and their title defense ended in the final game.
