Devon Conway has shown to be an excellent addition to the CSK squad recently. His two consecutive 50-point performances this week had a significant impact on the team’s total. Conway began this week with an astounding 170-run partnership with his opening partner Ruturaj.

He scored an unbroken 85 off 55 deliveries, as well as assisted the team with several key hits near the end. Conway’s success continued against RCB where he struck 56 from 37 deliveries and got out to Wanindu Hasaranga. CSK was unable to reach the 172-run mark set by RCB while chasing.

CSK had hoped to grab another straight win and stay in contention for the playoffs until Conway entered the crease. While CSK will not make the playoffs this season, fans will be looking for more from Conway in the upcoming games.

Number 2. Rovman Powell – Delhi Capitals

Powell has rediscovered his hard-hitting powers, which are benefiting the Delhi Capitals. He scored consecutive double-digit runs for his team and contributed to DC’s middle-order difficulties this week. Powell has been a strong finisher for DC this season.

His undefeated 67 came from only 35 deliveries with a strike rate of above 191. This certainly speaks words about the Caribbean’s power. Powell knocked the ball out of the park six times against the SRH bowling lineup. By hitting consecutive boundaries in the final over, he and David Warner clinched a fantastic total of 207 for DC.

Powell scored 35 runs in the game against LSG. Three fours and two sixes were hit in this inning. His huge hitting towards the end came in useful for DC because it pushed the goal and didn’t allow the net run rate to drop too much.

Number 3. Liam Livingstone – Punjab Kings

Punjab defeated the table-toppers Gujarat Titans by eight wickets this week to keep their playoff hopes alive. Liam Livingstone’s blazing inning was a crucial cause for this triumph. He hit 30 runs while chasing while taking only 10 deliveries. In this game, he also struck the season’s longest six, reaching 117 meters.

Punjab had restricted Gujarat to 143 runs at the DY Patil Stadium, with Liam taking a key wicket in David Miller. In 16 overs, the Kings easily chased down the target. Liam arrived at the field with a plan. When 22 runs were needed, he finished the match in one over.

Liam took over Mohammed Shami and blasted three sixes in a row. He batted at a strike rate of 300 and concluded the chase with two more boundaries. Liam has had a fantastic season with the Punjab Kings so far.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been one of India’s most consistent pacers throughout the years. His accuracy in limiting a batter’s onslaught has always been praised by the game’s analysts. In terms of wickets taken, this season has not been his finest thus far.

However, Bhuvi has bowled cheaply in the powerplay overs once again, putting pressure on hitters. In this week’s encounter against CSK, he went wicketless but still had an economy of 5.5, bowling eight dots in four overs. He only allowed 22 runs on a pitch that had 202 hits.

Another game this week was against the Delhi Capitals, and the pacer took one of the three wickets that fell. Kumar’s precise bowling caught DC opener, Mandeep Singh, off guard. Bhuvi allowed only 25 runs in four overs, bowling 14 dot balls against a batting team that tallied 207.

Number 5. Mohsin Khan – Lucknow Super Giants

Mohsin Khan was one of Lucknow Super Giants’ most economical bowlers this week. He bowled an incredible 4/16 against the powerful DC batting order. Mohsin took four wickets and allowed only 16 runs in four overs, including 15 important dot balls.

Mohsin’s magic took out DC’s main batters, David Warner, Pant, and Powell, in Wankhede. Mohsin’s exploits were undoubtedly a factor in LSG’s victory in its single game this week. As the KL Rahul-led side narrowly over the line, he assisted LSG in limiting the exploits of DC bats to 189.

This match was won by LSG by six runs. With each game, LSG creates a fresh sensation in the cricketing globe. Every game, a fresh youth steps up, making LSG a strong contender for a playoff spot.
