IPL 2022 – 5 BEST players from the fifth week of the tournament

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League has already been running for five weeks. Gujarat Titans, the new IPL team, has dominated the points table since the start of the season. In this season, he has two centuries and a fifty, with the hundred coming in the fifth week. On Sunday, April 24th, the Lucknow Super Giants faced the Mumbai Indians. KL hit his second century of the season against MI, hitting 103 off 62 balls.

He used to bat in the lower middle order for the Mumbai Indians, but he’s now a reliable middle-order bat for the Gujarat Titans. This season, the explosive all-rounder has appeared in seven IPL 2022 games, scoring 305 runs at an average of 61 with three superb fifties.

This week, Hardik played two games and scored 77 runs. Hardik’s GT faced Shreyas’ KKR on April 23rd, and Hardik stepped out to bat at number three, scoring a fantastic 67 off 49 balls to put his team in an excellent position.

Umran Malik, the current fast bowling star, is making headlines these days because he is undeniably a serious and promising talent. Sunrisers Hyderabad launched him last year, and he has captured everyone’s attention since then.

He has 15 wickets in eight matches in IPL 2022, with a bowling average of 15.93. On Wednesday, April 27th, the 22-year-old got a five-wicket haul against Gujarat Titans.

Gujarat only lost five wickets in that game, and all of them were picked by Umran himself. Fans may witness Umran play for India in the near future. He has amazed both past players and cricket fans all around the world.

 

Number 5. Kuldeep Yadav

In 2022, fans saw a much improved Kuldeep Yadav. His bowling for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2022 is just superb. Yadav has struck out 17 hitters in eight games, with a bowling average of 14.11. He took eight wickets in two games against his former team, the Kolkata Knight Riders.

DC will wish him to continue bowling the way he has been. In DC’s previous match against KKR, the chinaman removed four KKR hitters for 14 runs in three overs.

Kuldeep is a valuable asset to the Delhi franchise, and his return to form is good news for the Indian Cricket Team as well. Kuldeep is a strong candidate for the purple cap in the IPL 2022. On the list, he is now second to Yuzvendra Chahal.
