IPL 2022 – The BEST Rajasthan Royals Playing XI to face the Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Rajasthan Royals will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 39th match of the IPL 2022. Rajasthan will undoubtedly have the upper hand in the game since they have won two enormous and spectacular games in a row. Buttler is in top form right now, having already hit three centuries this season and holding the coveted Orange Cap for most runs. In his most recent game, he hammered 116 runs in 65 balls against the Delhi Capitals.

Rajasthan are a full package right now, sitting in the top half of the points table and boasting the leading run-scorer in Buttler and the biggest wicket-taker in the season so far in Yuzvendra Chahal. Sanju Samson is recovering his mojo, and Shimron Hetmyer has been filling in as the team’s finisher. So far, the bowlers have been incredibly economical, and Rajasthan will want to extend their winning streak.

Let’s take a look at the BEST Rajasthan Royals Playing XI to face the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RR’s Mr. Dependable at the moment is Jos Buttler. His form in the game is excellent, and after three centuries and two half-centuries, he will want to continue his exploits and put up another magnificent performance.

Padikkal was reassigned to his former opening duties and has been doing well since. He’s developed a nice rapport with Buttler, and the two are assisting their club in getting off to a solid start. Padikkal struck a half-century in the previous game against DC as the two shared a 155-run opening partnership.

Sanju Samson, Shimron Hetmyer and Karun Nair  solidify the middle order

When RR lost Paddikal in the 16th over, skipper Sanju Samson anchored the game against DC. Sanju hammered a fast 19-ball 46 to remain unbeaten and keep the game close. Hetmyer entered the game in the 19th inning but faced only one ball before Samson took over and helped RR score 222 runs in the opening innings.

Hetmyer has put in some strong performances so far, and the squad will rely on him once the top-order batters have finished their innings. He has been fairly steady with the bat, smacking 224 runs in seven innings played so far. Karun Nair hasn’t seen much action this season, but if he gels well with the batters on the other end, he has the potential to dominate the game.

Riyan Parag and Ravichandran Ashwin come in as the all-rounders

Parag has been with the team for a while, but this season hasn’t been his best. He had some match-winning knocks in the previous two years, but he hasn’t been able to replicate them this time. He has only scored 48 runs in five innings, but his confidence says that he simply needs one excellent game to regain his mojo.

Ravi Ashwin can contribute critical runs in the late overs for his team while also providing crucial breakthroughs with the ball. The off-spinner has emerged as an excellent all-rounder this season, taking two crucial wickets in the previous game in the form of Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan.

Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Obed McCoy and Yuzvendra Chahal complete the bowling attack

RR boasts one of the tournament’s best bowling squads. The bowlers have managed to keep the opposition at bay while also taking several of wickets and preserving their economy. Boult did not obtain a wicket in the previous game and handed up a few more runs, but the bowling attack works as a team, and there is always another bowler to come to the rescue if one bowler fails.

Prasidh Krishna took three wickets against DC, including notable names like David Warner, Rishabh Pant, and Sarfaraz Khan. He’ll be expected to keep his heroics with the ball up. Obed McCoy was costly in the last game, but he can manage pressure in the death overs, as he shown against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Yuzvendra Chahal is a name that requires no introduction. He contributed to the dramatic triumph over KKR by taking a hat-trick and a five-wicket haul in the game and then following it up with an economical performance against DC.
