According to Jos Buttler, Prasidh Krishna possesses the potential to be a world-class bowler

Jos Buttler, the Rajasthan Royals’ opener and an English batsman, believes Prasidh Krishna possesses all the characteristics necessary to develop into an excellent fast bowler. He believes that if given the opportunity, Krishna is capable of representing India in all three versions of the game.

Krishna made his international debut last year, on March 23, 2021, in the One-Day format. He was recruited by the Indian team during England’s India trip. He has yet to break into the T20I and Test formats, but Buttler is confident he will do so soon. His success in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) helped him gain the ODI cap.

Additionally, he stated that the additions of Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Trent Boult had provided the team with “invaluable experience.” “Their experience is truly priceless. Having those guys is excellent; we can draw on a wealth of expertise. When the game against Mumbai was in the balance and we required wickets, Ashwin took a magnificent wicket and then Yuzi took two in two. “Those guys are high achievers who know how to get things done,” he continued.

The prolific opener was effusive in his appreciation for his team’s skipper Sanju Samson, stating that he has improved significantly as a player since initially teaming up with him. “There have been few alterations” (since Sanju became captain). That is one of the most important characteristics any leader must possess — being real,” he remarked of the skipper.
