He is an all-rounder who has been in great touch recently. He is a regular pick for the national team and an impact player down the order. He is capable of scalping critical wickets while also adding to the scoreboard when his team needs it. The Sunrisers are obviously looking for a change in fortunes this season and Washington Sundar can deliver the impact when they need it the most. Marco Jansen
He was picked up by the Mumbai Indians last season but failed to make an impact as he was still being groomed behind the scenes. He has raw pace in his grasp and it will be interesting to see his progress in this season of the IPL.
Yuzvendra Chahal
The crafty leg spinner was let go by the RCB without even asking him if he wanted to be retained and this is a great chance for him to show everyone the impact he brings to the team he is part of. The Rajasthan Royals bagged him for a steal and he will obviously deliver the wickets as well as keep the flow of runs in check.
Sanju Samson
He has been leading the Rajasthan Royals rebuild for a few seasons but this squad seems to be the best that the franchise has assembled. Not only will he be able to learn from some of the experienced players but he himself will get the freedom to express himself with the bat and if he is consistent enough, then he stands a chance to get a spot on the World T20 squad as well.
