Mumbai Indians’ new pace assault has the support of Rohit Sharma.

Mumbai Indians will compete for their sixth Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2022. The Rohit Sharma-led team has been a powerhouse in the league for the previous nine seasons, winning five trophies. However, the side has been completely revamped following a major auction last month. As a result, the team has lost the services of several key players.

According to the rules, each of the eight current teams was permitted to keep a maximum of four players. MI kept skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Kieron Pollard. They did, however, lose the services of established T20 players such as Hardik Pandya, Quinton de Kock, and Trent Boult.

Tymal Mills and Javdev Unadkat will join forces with Jasprit Bumrah to form MI’s new bowling assault. Rohit stated the same thing, stating that the side’s new fast bowlers are seasoned enough to know what has to be done.

Meanwhile, MI will open their season on March 27 against Delhi Capitals at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. Owing to the fact that Suryakumar Yadav is expected to miss the match due to fitness concerns, MI’s starting XI will be intriguing to watch.
