Sunrisers Hyderabad reveal all-new Orange kit for IPL 2022

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unveiled their new squad uniform in anticipation of the Indian Premier League season (IPL 2022). The jersey is identical to what they announced before the IPL 2022 mega auction, with an orange-colored shirt and dropped shoulders featuring a black-colored graphic.

Additionally, the new suit features orange dots on black sleeves, a pure black neck and collar, and simple orange lower gear. Sunrisers Hyderabad would be looking forward to changing their fortunes under Kane Williamson’s leadership following a disappointing run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

The IPL 2016 champions will also have a new look in terms of management, with Tom Moody taking over as head coach from Trevor Bayliss. Brian Lara, a former West Indies captain, has been hired as the SRH squad’s batting coach. He will also serve as the team’s strategic advisor. Muttiah Muralitharan continues as the side’s mentor and spin bowling coach, while South African pace icon Dale Steyn has been appointed as the side’s fast bowling coach for the forthcoming season.

Prior to the IPL 2022 mega auction, the SRH franchise retained just Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad, and Umran Malik. They did, however, spend a lot of money in the IPL 2022 auction, spending INR 68 crores.

Their most costly acquisition was West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran, who cost INR 10.75 crores, and Washington Sundar, who cost INR 8.75 crores. Rahul Tripathi also joined SRH for an undisclosed fee of INR 8.5 crores. SRH, on the other hand, was fortunate to recoup Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan for less than INR 5 crores each.

Meanwhile, the Sunrisers Hyderabad revealed Kane Williamson’s first look in the new-look jersey and equipment on Twitter.
