Kapil Dev lauds Ravindra Jadeja for his fearless brand of cricket

Kapil Dev, the legendary Indian all-rounder, has poured praise on Ravindra Jadeja, who has been on a run recently. Whether he is bowling wickets or batting lower in the order, Jadeja has amazed everyone with his three-dimensional abilities. Additionally, he has risen to the position of Test all-rounder. Kapil is equally overjoyed with Jadeja’s performance, lavishing accolades on the Saurashtra-born player.

Kapil, who captained India’s 1983 World Cup-winning squad, complimented the southpaw’s ability to perform under duress. Notably, during the opening match of the present Test series against Sri Lanka, Jadeja rewrote the record books. While he smashed a magnificent 175 not out while batting, the left-arm spinner claimed nine wickets in the game as the Lankan Lions lost by an innings.

Jadeja’s jaw-dropping performance drew acclaim from a variety of quarters, and Kapil is the latest to do so. “Among new cricketers, I admire Ravindra Jadeja’s game because he plays without fear. He is a cricket enthusiast. That is why he is equally adept at bowling and batting. Kapil Dev, while inaugurating North India’s first completely operational joint replacement robot at Sarvodaya Hospital in Faridabad, added, “He also performs an excellent job in fielding.”
