Hardik Pandya still coy about his bowling in the upcoming IPL 2022 tournament

Hardik Pandya of Team India will captain the Gujarat Titans in the upcoming IPL 2022, which begins on March 26. During the IPL Mega Auction, the franchise signed Pandya for an eye-popping INR 15 crore. He was released by the Mumbai Indians, five-time champions.

It’s worth noting that the 28-year-old has only batted in the middle order since undergoing lower back surgery in October 2019. Indeed, he has taken an indefinite vacation from cricket following the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in order to re-establish his rhythm with the ball in hand.

Recently, the all-rounder was asked if he would bowl in the next IPL 2022, to which he responded with an interesting response.

During the media interaction following the unveiling of the Gujarat Titans’ official jersey on March 13 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, a reporter inquired whether Pandya would be seen bowling for the new team in the upcoming edition of the marquee tournament, to which Pandya replied, “Let it remain a surprise for now.”

“Sir surprise hain woh. Surprise ko surprise rehne do”, he said.
