Biju George has been named as the fielding coach for the Delhi Capitals
Biju George has been appointed as the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) fielding coach ahead of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL). And the development was confirmed by the proprietor of the Delhi Capitals (DC) franchise.
Biju has previously worked with the Indian women’s cricket team. He has also played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
It was announced by the IPL’s promoter that George has been signed up for the 2022 season and that he has a wealth of international cricket expertise.
The Delhi Capitals (DC), led by Rishabh Pant, will play their opening match of the tournament against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on March 27th, 2022, in New Delhi, India. A major concern for the Delhi Capitals will be the fact that two of their best bowlers, Lungi Ngadi and Anrich Nortje, may not be available for the team’s first few matches in the 2022 IPL season. Lungi Ngadi and Anrich Nortje are both expected to miss the first few games of the season.
As long as Nortje is not fully recovered, it is possible that Lungi Ngidi will be nominated to the South African team for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which will conclude on the 12th of April in 2022. The Delhi Capitals qualified for the knockout stages of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 but were defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the second Qualifier of the competition. The Knight Riders defeated the Delhi Capitals by three wickets in the second Qualifier of the Indian Premier League 2021 to qualify for the championship match of the season.
The Delhi Capitals will come to the city of Mumbai on March 10, 2022, in advance of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team led by Rishabh Pant has not yet claimed the IPL championship.
