Deepak Chahar of Chennai Super Kings is expected to play in the IPL 2022 starting in mid-April

Deepak Chahar will be available for the Indian Premier League’s 2022 season, in what can only be described as a fantastic development for Chennai Super Kings (IPL). According to the current developments, the right-arm pacer will avoid surgery and is expected to be ready to play by the middle of April. He is currently receiving rehabilitation at Bangalore’s National Cricket Academy.

Chahar tore his quadriceps during the T20I series against the West Indies, forcing him to miss the ensuing series against Sri Lanka. According to original reports, the bowling all-rounder was expected to miss a significant portion of the season, if not the entire season, following surgery. However, due to the expected operation, Chahar should be available for selection by mid-April.

Additionally, it has been learned that CSK wishes for Chahar to join their camp in Surat in the coming weeks. The franchise, it appears, wants to monitor the pacer’s fitness and have him ready as quickly as possible. It’s worth noting that Chahar has been an integral part of CSK’s lineup since the 2018 season began.
