Magala and Nortje are unavailable for Bangladesh’s One-Day Internationals

Temba Bavuma will captain a 16-man one-day international squad against Bangladesh in a three-match series starting next week. Sisanda Magala of the Pacers is unable to compete due to fitness concerns, while Anrich Nortje continues to heal from a hip ailment.

South Africa recently defeated India 3-0 at home, demonstrating the selectors’ continued confidence in the successful combination.

Beginning on March 18, the series, which will be contested in Centurion and Johannesburg, will conclude on March 23, three days before the start of the IPL season in Mumbai. A total of eight players from the South Africa side have IPL contracts, and the league requires them to be quarantined for three days, but they are free to transfer from one team to another. The One-Day Internationals (ODIs) between South Africa and Bangladesh, on the other hand, will not be played in a strict bio bubble.
