Josh Little, a pacer from Ireland, will join the Chennai Super Kings as a net bowler
According to recent reports, Ireland pacer Josh Little has been signed by Chennai Super Kings as a net bowler for the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Cricket Ireland announced the same on their official Twitter page, wishing the left-arm pacer an enjoyable experience. Notably, the IPL 2022 season begins on March 26, and CSK will enter as defending champions.
Little made his international debut in September 2016 and has been an important part of the T20I team ever since. The quick bowler has the ability to swing the ball early and at a reasonable rate. Little is also capable of containing the run-flow in death overs, and he has demonstrated this ability at the greatest level. With numerous famous batters in the MS Dhoni-led team, the time with CSK would provide an excellent learning experience for the Irish pacer.
Little has 34 wickets in 31 T20I outings at an economy rate of 7.49. With the T20 World Cup taking place in Australia later this year, Little’s experience with CSK can be a significant help for the Ireland team.
