Eight IPL-bound players are included in South Africa’s team for the ODI series against Bangladesh
There has been considerable criticism recently about South African players preparing for the Indian Premier League having to choose between playing the Test series against Bangladesh and being available for their IPL franchises. However, for the time being, the players have been named in the squad for the prior three-match One-Day International series against the same opposition at home.
South Africa has picked a full-strength squad for the one-day international series against England planned for March 18th to 23rd. Anrich Nortje and Sisanda Magala, on the other hand, will be absent due to different injury worries. Notably, the series closes three days before the IPL, with players potentially missing the mega tournament’s first few games.
Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Dwaine Pretorius, and Marco Jansen are the eight players named in the team who will also appear in the 15th edition of the IPL.
