BCCI has agreed to keep the jersey deal with BYJU’s until March 2023
BYJU will retain the Indian cricket team’s official shirt sponsor for another year. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made this decision, which was also supported by the Apex Council.
The news was confirmed by a BCCI member. The deal was meant to come to an end following India’s present series with Sri Lanka.
Earlier this year, the BCCI sponsored BYJUs with a jersey. Additionally, the BCCI noted that they are pleased to welcome India’s leading learning app as the Indian team’s official team sponsor.
“BYJU’S will assume all obligations associated with the team’s current sponsor, OPPO mobiles India private limited. The BCCI is thrilled to welcome BYJU’S, India’s leading education and learning app, as the official Team India sponsor from 5 September 2019 to 31 March 2022,” the BCCI stated when BYJUs joined in 2019.
The BCCI’s Apex Council announced that India will host the South African cricket team for a five-match Twenty20 International series in June. Additionally, the two teams will play a T20I series at Nagpur, Rajkot, Delhi, Chennai, and Bangalore.
