Australian Cricket Legend Shane Warne Passes away at 52

Shane Warne, the Australian spin magician, died on March 4th, at the age of 52. According to reports, the former cricketer suffered a heart attack and died after being discovered “unresponsive” in his villa in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Warne’s management issued a brief statement to acknowledge his death, albeit the facts of his death have yet to be confirmed.

“Despite the best efforts of medical workers, Shane was found lifeless in his villa and could not be resuscitated,” according to the statement. “At this time, the family requests privacy and will share further information as soon as possible.”

In a career spanning over a decade and a half, Warne represented Australia in 145 Tests and 194 One-Day Internationals, making him one of the best spinners in the world.
