Deepak Chahar of CSK is expected to miss the most of the IPL 2022 due to fitness concerns

Deepak Chahar is poised to miss most of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 due to fitness difficulties, in what can only be described as a big development. During last month’s super auction, Chennai Super Kings re-signed the bowling all-rounder, who had been playing well in white-ball cricket recently, for a whopping INR 14 crore. Chahar also appeared motivated to return the officials’ and support staff’s trust.

However, it has been revealed that the fast bowler would miss a significant portion of the T20 event, if not the entire tournament.

Chahar tore his quadriceps in the third T20I against the West Indies last month. The ailment that forced him to miss the Sri Lanka T20Is would most likely take many weeks to recover. As a result, he may miss the entire IPL season, which runs from March 26 to May 29.
