Cricket Ireland releases home fixtures, India to play two-match T20I series in June 2022
This summer will be known as the ‘Season of Stars,’ as it will be the largest-ever home season of international cricket in Irish history. Over the course of a 15-match home international season, Ireland’s senior team will face four Full Members, including many of the world’s finest players. Ireland’s men will play a two-month white-ball series against India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Afghanistan, beginning on June 26 at Malahide.
The men’s series versus South Africa will be held at The Bristol County Ground in Bristol, with 13 of the matches taking place in international sites in Ireland. The three-match One-Day International series between Ireland Men and New Zealand, the world’s top-ranked ODI team, will be part of the ICC World Cup Super League and will be a significant element of Ireland’s 2023 World Cup qualification campaign. The men’s visit is a re-enactment of the two-match series held in Malahide in 2018 in front of sell-out crowds during the summer hot.
