India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I Dream11 Predictions, Lineups and more
The fast paced series between India and Sri Lanka continues as the two teams go head to head in the third and final T20I, which is pretty match now a dead rubber game. The Indians have not put a foot wrong this season, having dominated in every department and made the most of the prevailing conditions. The Sri Lankans came into this series, hopeful of finding some form as the IPL and World T20 tournaments approach, but they just have not been allowed to settle into the game and as such, have not even put up a fight against the mighty hosts.
The third and final match offers India a chance to complete another whitewash and for the Lankans to try and get a consolation win. The game is scheduled to take place on the 27th of Februrary, 2022 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala.
India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I – Pitch Report
While it’s one of the fastest wickets in the country, the seamers will receive plenty of assistance, while the batters will receive full value for their shots. It’s much easier to bat in the second half of a match, so bowling first is the better option in this situation.
He has been absolutely clinical with the bat this series and has made a strong case for himself to be put permanently in the middle order of the Indian batting lineup. He has scored 131 runs from the two games that have been played and he will be looking to put in another big performance in the third game to further his cause.
He made his comeback to the national side after sitting on the sidelines due to an injury and the way he is playing, it seems like he was never really gone in the first place. He has not had a lot of time with the bat, but the fiery all-rounder has been on the job, having scored 48 runs from two games and he has also scalped two wickets. He brings a lot of stability to the middle order and we expect to see him get even better in the third game.
The opening batsman has a very forgettable first game, where he was dismissed for a duck, but in the last game, he created a great impact after scoring a handful 75 runs and gave his team a good start to the proceedings. The Lankans will be counting on him to give them a good start once again, irrespective of whether they are batting first or chasing the target.
His half century in the first game was a great precursor of what he can do with the bat, but the Indian bowlers made quick work of him in the second game, and extinguished the threat. He is in good touch and we expect to see him do a lot better in the third game and help his team to try and get a win.
