Ravindra Jadeja looking forward to getting back into action against Sri Lanka

Ravindra Jadeja, the star Indian allrounder, is ready to return to the action for the next T20I series against Sri Lanka, which would be followed by Test matches. Due to injury worries, the 33-year-old has been forced to sit out the last several games. Jadeja, on the other hand, stated that he is eager to put on the Indian jersey once more in the next series against Sri Lanka.

Jadeja has had to miss India’s visit to South Africa as well as the just finished home T20I series against the West Indies due to an injury to his left forearm received while playing against New Zealand in Kanpur. The all-rounder has now recovered and is now a member of both the Indian T20I and Test squads that will face Sri Lanka.

Jadeja has been receiving rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in the hopes of returning to cricket as soon as possible. The senior pro added that he has been focusing on his conditioning and has also completed his first practise session after the injury.

Beginning on February 24th, the series will consist of three T20Is and two Test matches, with the first T20I taking place in Lucknow. With his comeback, Jadeja, who has been a key member of the Indian team for some time, would undoubtedly strengthen the squad. Following the end of the series, the Saurashtra cricketer will play for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
