Ranji Trophy 2021/22 – Mumbai vs Saurashtra Dream11 Predictions, Lineups and more

The Ranji Trophy is all set to return after a one-year hiatus and to start things off, we have 41-time champions Mumbai taking on the reigning champions Saurashtra in the Elite Group D fixture.

The Mumbai Unit will be led by Prithvi Shaw and playing under him will be the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Sarfaraz Khan, and Dhawal Kulkarni. The serial winners have not held the trophy since 2015/16 and they will be hoping to get off to a good start this time around and become champions once again.

Defending champions Saurashtra will be buoyed by the presence of Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been sent back to the domestic circuit to recapture his form. They won their maiden title a couple of seasons back when they beat Bengal in the finals. Led by Jaydev Unadkat they are hopeful of repeating the similar performances this year as well.

The match is scheduled to take place on the 17th of February, 2022 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

He has scored 2414 runs in his 28 FC matches which shows you how talented and serious he is about making it to the big leagues.

Ajinkya Rahane

He has been hot and cold for the national team and was thus sent back to the domestic circuit to try and recapture his form. He is one of the finest test players out there and he should be able to use this tournament as a great platform to get back into the national side.
