Purse remaining with each team at end of day one of mega auction
The first day of the IPL 2022 mega auction saw a successful end where various teams bagged players of their choice after aggressive bidding. As many as 590 players were set to go under the hammer wherein the majority of the big names have found a team for themselves. The remaining ones might get home for the new season on day two of the auction.
Talking in terms of purse remaining with the players at the end of day one, CSK is sitting with a big purse of INR 20.45 crore followed by Delhi Capitals’ purse of INR 16.5 crore. The team has the least amount at the moment is LSG with INR 6.9 crore. Though CSK retained most of their core group in terms of Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, and DJ Bravo, they splashed huge money on pacer Deepak Chahar.
