Ishan Kishan’s childhood coach would love to see him head back to the Mumbai Indians

With the IPL 2022 Mega Auction coming up, many people in the fraternity have started putting in their two cents on where they expect certain players to go. One such person is Ishan Kishan’s childhood coach Uttam Mazumdar, who wants to see his ward head back to the Mumbai Indians during the mega auctions.

Ishan Kishan has set up a reputation for being a maverick batsman but has struggled to find a consistent run of form. The later stages of last year’s IPL saw him try to play a more balanced inning and it seems to suit the team and himself as he was able to get the bigger scores. What he has to his advantage is his age and the fact that he will only improve going forward.

The Mumbai Indians are known to be a franchise with a great backroom management staff and it is only fair for Mazumdar to see Ishan head back there as it will be a great place for him to polish his skills.

The IPL 2022 Mega Auctions are scheduled to take place on the 12th and 13th of February in Bangalore.
