Hardik Pandya remains silent over questions regarding his bowling in the upcoming IPL 2022 season
When Hardik Pandya was asked if he planned to get back to bowling in the upcoming IPL 2022 Season, his reply was – “It’s a surprise for everyone”.
While there wasn’t much the allrounder was willing to give, Pandya spoke promisingly about his captaincy philosophy, the goals he’s set, and how he wants to shape the culture of the Ahmedabad franchise.
With Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill by his side, head coach Ashish Nehra and team mentor Gary Kirsten at the helm of affairs, Pandya wants his side to script new legacies as the franchise aims to take flight. “We are starting from scratch and I feel we can create new legacies, we can create new cultures which I want to endorse. It’s going to be a very exciting time,” Pandya gushed about his new journey.
Having played under MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma in IPL and for India, Pandya stressed he’s keen to implement the knowledge he’s gained over the years. He wants to be the big brother figure around the players, someone they can bank on when they slip up.
