19-year old Stella Campbell has been selected for the Australian squad ahead of the Ashes

Australia has added fast bowler Stella Campbell to their squad ahead of the Ashes Test match. The 19-year-old quick replaces the injured Tayla Vlaeminck, who was ruled out of the series as well as the forthcoming World Cup in New Zealand with a stress fracture to her foot.

Campbell, who made her official debut last year, against India, will be looking to make the most of this opportunity. She will have fond memories of the ground, having claimed 7 for 25 in a Women’s National Cricket League match earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Grace Harris has returned to Australia A squad after being promoted to the Ashes squad as T20 cover for Beth Mooney, with Mooney now likely to feature in the Test after undergoing surgery on her fractured jaw last Tuesday.
