IPL 2022 – Team Retentions and Remaining Purse for the Mega Auction

With the IPL 2022 Mega Auction right around the corner, the franchises are drawing up their plans for their lineups as the whole system will go for a complete reset. Outside of the players that have been retained, the teams will have to rebuild a full squad of players and the analysts will have to be extra careful on deciding who they want on their lineup as there won’t be another mega auction for some time. With new franchises – Ahmedabad and Lucknow, all set to make their debuts this season, the tournament will get longer and the competition to get a particular player from the pot will be that much harder.
