Terry Motau set to preside as the chairperson of disciplinary hearing against Boucher
Cricket South Africa has set the ball rolling for inquiry into allegations of racism against national head coach Mark Boucher, and appointed Senior Counsel Advocate Terry Motau as the chairperson of the disciplinary hearing.
The disciplinary hearing follows December’s Social Justice and Nation-Building (SJN) report, which spelled out systemic racism prevalent within the ranks of the board and inside the dressing room. Charges including that of “gross misconduct” against Boucher were leveled by his former national teammate, Paul Adams.
CSA also said that a charge sheet, containing both the disciplinary charges against Boucher as well as his rights, was provided to him on January 17.
